ABOUT ME
Over the course of one year I've developed a strong love for coding. I spent 12 weeks at General Assembly's Web Development Course where I built my programming knowledge and practiced it with various projects and assignments. I collaberated on some of the projects as well as built others individually.
I started off with joining General Assembly, a coding bootcamp, to learn coding from scratch and what the industry involves.
This lead to several late night sessions, coding away madly on various projects.
Having finished the course, I am now seeking employment in an environment that will help me continue to build upon my skills.
MY PROJECTS

Simple yet achievable memory game. The user has to remember and click cards in the order they were flashed to gain points and win. The app uses mathematical complexities to calculate user’s response against that of the computer and decide when and whom to allocate points.
The app lists out zodiac signs for users to select and on entering their date of birth, they are given a prediction for the day. MongoDB is used to store predictions which are retrieved with a calculation against the current weekday/date and a certain zodiac sign. The front end is designed using jQuery and SCSS concepts.
Using this app, the users can view the different categories of museums, their location and leave reviews. The app makes use of Google Maps API to retrieve location, Filepicker for creating user avatars, AJAX for making calls to the server to store data in MongoDB.
An app for authenticated users to post on a job board where they are able to display their individual talents to the clients. The app uses MVC design pattern, Mongoose for object modelling and Auth for user authentication.
